Professional Experience
Terry Sobieski has been employed in the delivery of Technical Services, i.e. Energy Management, Contract Administration and Project Management, Building Evaluations, Facilities and Property Management, for over 25 years, both as manager and employee. As manager he was, and is a hands on individual being directly involved in the delivery of projects. He was responsible for a technical organization of 18 staff consisting of Engineers, Technologists, draftspersons, clerical support, trades persons and building operators who delivered Preventive Maintenance Services, Project Design and Administration, and Service Contracts for a large Institutional Organization.
Qualifications
- Certified Reserve Planner (CRP); holds the CRP designation the preeminent designation for reserve fund planners
- Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) designation through the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI) with training to develops skills in strategic planning, corporate finance, project management, capital investment and physical asset management.
- Architectural Technologist by training and has worked in various aspects of the field for over 25 years having taken numerous university and industry specific upgrading courses.
- A member of the Canadian Condominium Institute keeping abreast of concerns, issues and trends in the condominium sector.

Services provided include Condominium Reserve Fund Studies, Long Term Capital and Repair Plans for personal care homes, churches and religious institutions, as well as non-profit corporations. Additional services provided has included Project Management and contract supervision, the development of Operation Manuals for institutional facilities, and Energy Land Utility Audits.
