Fire Safety Plans

Fire Safety Plans are alegal requirement.  The Saskatoon Fire Department in conjunction with the National Fire Code and Provincial Fire Code require Fire Safety Plans be provided for all condominiums.  The Saskatoon Fire Department Bulletin 17-12 is the City legislation that requires all applicable buildings prepare Fire Safety Plans.  TheFire Safety Plans provide residents, Property Managers and the Fire Department essential information in regarding; the structure, fire systems, exit routes, and designated personnel in the event of a fire and/or an emergency situation.

tas – Technical Advisory Services Inc. will work with the Condominium Board, their designated representative and/or Property Manager in preparing the Fire Safety Plan.  The plan is based on approved examples provided by the Saskatoon Fire Department.  In preparing the plan I meet with the applicable parties, carry out a detailed site inspection to identify the location of various components and devices, review necessary documentation and provide a draft for review.  I then meet with the Condominium Board, their designated representative and/or Property Manager to review the draft, answer questions in regards to the document and make any necessary edits and revisions.  Upon completion two (2) printed colour copies will be provided as well as a USB memory stick with a PDF copy for client printing purposes and reproduction.
